Program: Flowering bulbs offer surprise, color, and drama when you need it most. There are unusual species, and best of all – low maintenance. Learn about these underground miracles! We’ll cover which bulbs will do best in your location, design layout, how to plant and keep them going year after year.

April 29, Friday 11:00 am • Arbor Day Celebration

Arbor Day Celebration In collaboration with the Village & Town Tree Commissions. WVG will host the planting of a tree in the Warwick area.

Location: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 95 Kings Highway, Warwick
Program: “Creating a Rain Garden”. Problem spots and storm water runoff on your property are opportunities for creativity. Capitalize on a “wet” area or redirect storm water runoff by designing a rain garden using plants that thrive in damp soil. We will dispel any mystery to its installation and function. Warwick Valley Gardeners 28th Annual Countryside Garden Tour 
Fundraising event to benefit community programs and the maintenance of nine gardens throughout the town of Warwick. Tour spectacular gardens specially selected for your enjoyment within the area.

Program: “Monarch Butterflies”. Diane has many pictures, slides, and information on the Monarch Butterfly. She has visited them in Mexico where they overwinter and worked with them in Cape May!
